On Thursday, 26 January, the ‘Europa Europa’ cycle kicked off, curated by the architect and publisher Moisés Puente. Every 15 days until the month of June, a showing of European architecture will be presented, with lectures from 5 guest architects and 4 critics, and introduced by Catalan architects.

The winners of the 3rd European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention AADIPA were announced by the jury on June 15th at the COAC headquarters in Barcelona. The announcement of the 18 short-listed projects, from which two special mentions and four winners were chosen, was made during the 3rd International Architectural Heritage Intervention Biennial AADIPA.

ArquinFAD loans the collection of documents on the FAD Awards to the COAC’s Archive
The Architects’ Association of Catalonia has signed an agreement with the association ArquinFAD. The dean of the COAC, Lluís Comerón, and the president of ArquinFAD, architect Sílvia Farriol, formally signed an agreement on 31 May giving the COAC access to the documentary collection of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design.

On 20 April, at a public event held at the Architects’ Association, the most outstanding works selected in the 2nd Mostra d’Arquitectura Internacional Catalana (International Catalan Architecture Exhibition) were revealed. The exhibition’s purpose is to record, highlight and divulge the work of Catalan architects outside Spain in the last few years.
