The ultimate recognition for Catalan architecture: RCR Arquitectes, winners of the Pritzker Architecture Prize 2017
Integration with the place; a complete redefinition of the user’s relationship with nature, with his or her own body, with intimacy, with natural rhythms; and the consideration of the city as a landscape are some of the concepts that have led the team at RCR Arquitectes to win this year’s Pritzker Architecture Prize.
OFFICE KGDVS fills the auditorium for the first conference in the ‘Europe, Europe’ cycle
On Thursday, 26 January, the ‘Europa Europa’ cycle kicked off, curated by the architect and publisher Moisés Puente. Every 15 days until the month of June, a showing of European architecture will be presented, with lectures from 5 guest architects and 4 critics, and introduced by Catalan architects. The Belgian architectural practice OFFICE Kersten Geers David van Severen, introduced by Anna Puigjaner from MAIO architects, gave the first lecture in the series.
ArquinFAD loans the collection of documents on the FAD Awards to the COAC’s Archive
The Architects’ Association of Catalonia has signed an agreement with the association ArquinFAD. The dean of the COAC, Lluís Comerón, and the president of ArquinFAD, architect Sílvia Farriol, formally signed an agreement on 31 May giving the COAC access to the documentary collection of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design.
The COAC Historical Archive is collaborating with the ‘Antoni Gaudí. Barcelona’ exhibition at the MMOMA
The Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) and the company Aurea Cultura are organising the exhibition entitled ‘Antoni Gaudí. Barcelona’, which can be seen between 22 May and 10 September in the Russian capital. The Moscow museum is displaying around 150 pieces including plans, drawings, models, photos and furniture in four themed areas, with the aim of providing clear and educational insight into Gaudí as an architect and his world.

El 18 de maig s’ha publicat al DOGC l’anunci pel qual s’obre la convocatòria d’ajuts del programa d’arranjament d’habitatges per a persones en situació de vulnerabilitat a la ciutat de Barcelona per a l’any 2017.
Aquesta convocatòria es regeix per les Bases reguladores aprovades per la Junta General del Consorci de l’Habitatge de Barcelona, i compta amb una dotació pressupostària inicial de 5.000.000 €.
