The Intercollegiate Association of Professional Associations of Catalonia, to which the Architects' Association belongs, together with more than 100 other professional associations, is promoting a campaign to denounce the sub-human situation faced by refugees arriving on European soil.
The Jury of ‘Espai Barça’ unanimously chose the proposal from the team Nikken Sekkei + Pascual i Ausió Arquitectes as the winner of the architectural tender to design the new FC Barcelona Camp Nou stadium. The Jury panel comprised five members of the football club, three members of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia and a representative of Barcelona City Council.
The four associations have criticized ADIF for awarding the new La Sagrera railway station project to the company that made the lowest bid, despite the fact that in ADIF’s own opinion this bidder submitted the worst technical bid.

On Monday 25 January, at an open meeting with the media, the COAC analysed the construction and building renovation sector in Catalonia during 2015.Last year closed with authorizations for 2,881,076 m2, 26% more than in 2014. FC Barcelona has announced that the Espai Barça jury has selected the bid by the HOK + TAC Arquitectes team as the winner of the architectural tender for the new Palau Blaugrana. The jury, formed by five members of FCB, three members of the COAC and one member of the City Council, made their decision after a careful study of the different proposals.
