From Piazza Vecchia to The Green Square - 7a Biennal 2012

I Maestri del Paesaggio - International Meeting of the Landscape and Garden is organised by the cultural association “Arketipos” and coordinated by Studio GPT. Internationally famous landscape architects present their work, experiences, philosophies and methodologies to an audience of sector experts and technicians from both Italy and abroad.
This event is making a name for itself nationally as the most important and prestigious among landscape architects, most of all because of the quality of the speakers, the highly trained public and quality journalism.
During the 2011 event, Piazza Vecchia, the most well-known and visited square in Bergamo and among the most picturesque in Italy, was decked in green and became a magical garden from 2 - 11 September for the whole town to experience and enjoy. It was a resounding success and is to be repeated in 2012, this time for 18 days. The theme this year is of sustainability and sustainable development.
