Arquitectura en las aulas: la escuela Camps Elisis inicia un proyecto de innovación en alianza con la Demarcación de Lleida del Colegio de Arquitectos

La escuela Camps Elisis de Lleida ha iniciado un proyecto innovador en alianza con la Demarcación de Lleida del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña, que tendrá una duración de cuatro años. El proyecto da una nueva visión del entorno, tomando la arquitectura como eje vertebrador del aprendizaje, y está enmarcado en el programa “Magnet, alianzas para el éxito educativo”, impulsado por el Departamento de Educación, la Fundación Jaume Bofill, la Diputación de Barcelona y el Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación de la UAB, con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Lleida.

El Plan de Usos de Ciutat Vella y el Museo del Clima de Lleida, Premios de Urbanismo y Arquitectura Española

El Consejo Superior de Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE) ha reconocido dos proyectos catalanes en sus premios de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de este 2019. Se trata del Plan de Usos de Ciutat Vella, de 300.000 km/s y del Museo del Clima de Lleida, de Toni Gironès, que han ganado el Premio de Urbanismo Español y el Premio de Arquitectura Español respectivamente.

2nd edition of 'Architecture in the Classrooms'. Our aim is for children and young people to enjoy Architecture Week 2020

For the fourth year running, the Architects’ Association—in conjunction with Barcelona City Council, the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Construmat and ARQUIN-FAD—are organizing Architecture Week, which will take place between 7 and 17 May 2020.

Following the success of the first Architecture in the Classrooms, which involved 65 schools and 4,000 students, we will be bringing architecture to primary and secondary schools once again with the collaboration of the Barcelona Education Consortium.

On 22 November, the Architects’ Council of Europe (ACE) will be holding its General Assembly at the COAC’s headquarters in Plaça Nova. The 43 organisations that form part of the Council, including the CSCAE (the Higher Council of Architects’ Associations of Spain), will all be participating.

The Association presents the 2019 COAC Medals to 48H Open House and the Jordi Capell Architects’ Cooperative

The Governing Board of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia has decided to award the 2019 COAC Medals to 48H Open House and the Jordi Capell Architects’ Cooperative. With this distinction, the COAC recognises the work undertaken by both entities in sharing information on architectural heritage, architects and architecture. 

The COAC Medals are the institutional distinction awarded by the Architects’ Association of Catalonia in recognition of  individuals' or entities' contributions to the progress of architecture or the COAC itself.
