Architects' Association of Catalonia

The Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) is an organization with a history dating back more than 80 years during which it has established itself in our society as a benchmark for architecture, enjoying both national and international prestige.

The Association’s mission is to uphold the social value of architecture and town and country planning on behalf of both society and architects. In doing so, its main tasks are to:

Oversee architectural quality.
Provide a service for its member architects.
Uphold, represent and promote the work of its member architects.
Disseminate architecture both socially and culturally.

The Association has more than 10,000 member architects across the whole of Catalonia and is structured in six areas—Barcelona, Central Regions, Girona, Tarragona, Lleida and Ebre—with a series of regional branches and offices to address the needs of its members in a more accessible way.
