Visita a los poblados ibéricos de Calaceite, Vinebre y Tivissa
Organizada por Jordi Segura y Nuria Corbella, codirectores del XXXIX Cursillo; Josep Esteve, arquitecto miembro del equipo organizador del Cursillo; y Dídac Gordillo, miembro de la AADIPA, ésta será la segunda de las siete jornadas previstas en relación con el Cursillo de este año.
La visita está abierta a miembros de la AADIPA y todos los arquitectos colegiados.
El punto de encuentro será el poblado ibérico de San Antonio de Calaceite, a las 10.15 h. Durante el itinerario se visitarán las ruinas del poblado ibérico de San Antonio de Calaceit, el conjunto arqueológico de Coll del Moro, en Gandesa, y los poblados íberos de San Miguel de Vinebre y de Castellet de Banyoles, en Tivissa.
El coste de la visita es de 25 € para los miembros de la AADIPA y de la Demarcación del Ebro y de 30 € para el resto de asistentes. La comida será en el restaurante Sibaritas y la jornada se prevé que finalice sobre las 19 h.

Presentation of the project to represent Catalonia at the Venice Biennale
On Monday, 9 May, at 7 pm in the Auditorium of the COAC there will be a presentation of the project ’Aftermath_Architecture beyond architects’, which will represent Catalonia at this year's La Biennale di Venezia.
The event will be attended by the Dean of the COAC, Lluís Comerón; the Director of the Ramon Llull Institute, Manuel Forcano; the three curators of the project, architects Jaume Prat and Jelena Prokopljević and filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta; and the seven teams of architects whose work will be exhibited at the show.
Aftermath_Architecture beyond architects
Using audiovisual installations, the project highlights various public architectural interventions, selected as examples of the type of architecture that enhances users’ relationship with the urban, social and natural landscape.
The buildings to be featured are the La Cerdanya Cross-border Hospital, by Brullet-Pineda Arquitectes; the Campclar Food Distribution Centre, by NUA Arquitectures (Maria Rius, Ferran Tiñena and Arnau Tiñena); the environmental recovery of the banks of the Llobregat River, by Batlle i Roig Arquitectes; the Atlàntida Theatre of Vic, by Josep Llinàs, Josep Llobet, Pedro Ayesta and Laia Vives; the Júlia Tower, by Sergi Pons, Pau Vidal and Ricard Galiana; the Saint Roch car park in Montpellier by Archikubik (Miquel Lacasta, Marc Chalamanch and Carmen Santana); and Can Batlló, by the Can Batlló Collective and the LaCol Cooperative.
Catalonia's participation in the Venice Biennale, which opens on 26 May and can be visited until 27 November, is being promoted by the Ramon Llull Institute with support from the Catalan Government's Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Territory and Sustainability. This year's edition, curated by Alejandro Aravena, is entitled ‘Reporting from the Front’.

The COAC exhibits the selected projects for the new Camp Nou and Palau Blaugrana
The aim of the exhibition, organized jointly with FC Barcelona, is to reveal the projects of all the finalists. Therefore the exhibition is set up over three spaces:
At the arquitectes.cat space in Plaça Nova you can see the work of the winning teams, Pascual-Ausió Arquitectes + Nikken Sekkei and TAC Arquitectes + HOK, with their respective models. The other finalists' projects will have their own space in the Mezzanine with their models and images on display. For those seeking more in-depth knowledge of the work of these teams, the Picasso Room will display more details of the approach to the projects with plans, documents, images, etc.
The exhibition opens on Tuesday, 10 May, at 7 pm in the presence of the Dean of the COAC, Lluís Comerón; the President of Barcelona FC, Josep Maria Bartomeu; and the architectural teams of the finalists.
Running parallel to the exhibition, a series of seminars are scheduled for the Auditorium of the COAC at which the teams of finalists will explain the projects presented in more detail.
