BBB Construmat holds a competition with the support of COAC and AJAC

Beyond Building Barcelona Construmat, with the support of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) and its Group of Young Architects (AJAC), organizes the Beyond Building Barcelona Construmat Competition of Ideas for the design of the showroom in the upcoming Construmat Fair, which will be held in May 2015.
The competition is aimed at architects and architecture students under 40 years old, and all teams will need at least one participant of each category, thus enhancing professional interaction between both groups.
In order to explain the details and reply to possible questions, an event will be held at COAC on January the 20th at 7.30 pm. The event will be run by COAC's dean Lluis Comeron, Construmat Director Jaume Domenech, and AJAC's vice-chairman Fernando Gil.
Competition objective

Participants will have to submit their proposals for the design of the "Access tunnel", the "Rambla", and the "Agora", "Speaker's Corner" and "Foro contract" spaces at the fair.
Awards
The winning team will be given € 5,000 and two scholarships for COAC Escola Sert.
In addition, two mentions will be awarded, with an amount of € 1,000 for each, and also two scholarships for COAC Escola Sert.
