Arquitectes Artistes 2.0
L’arquitectura és l’art de construir edificis, diu el diccionari, però molts dels arquitectes que projecten i dirigeixen obres, també pinten, dibuixen, fotografien... És per això, que el Col·legi d’Arquitectes ha organitzat aquesta exposició amb els arquitectes com a protagonistes, per donar a conèixer i compartir les altres vessants artístiques dels arquitectes de les nostres comarques. Hi han participat una vintena de professionals de les comarques de l’Anoia, Bages, Berguedà, Moianès i Osona.
Amb aquest voluntat, us volem presentar una pinzellada d’aquesta exposició en format digital. La situació sanitària que estem passant no ha permès que tot el públic interessat l’hagi pogut visitar, i creiem que aquest format digital ens ajudarà a acostar-vos-hi. Mentre esperem trobar sala a altres municipis del territori, us convidem a veure la presentació de l’exposició ARQUITECTES ARTISTES de mà dels seus protagonistes.

El COAC participa en el homenaje a Enric Miralles con un ciclo de conferencias que se celebrará el próximo mes de junio
En el año 2020 se cumplían 20 años de la muerte de Enric Miralles, uno de los arquitectos más relevantes de los últimos tiempos. Este año la Fundación Enric Miralles impulsa un homenaje a su figura y su trayectoria, que se concreta con un programa de exposiciones y actividades para mostrar el legado del arquitecto y sus diferentes facetas como creador y profesor.
El COAC contribuye a este homenaje coral con un ciclo de tres encuentros que contará con la presencia de arquitectos, académicos y artistas que compartirán sus experiencias con Enric Miralles y conversarán sobre su trayectoria e influencia.
El primer encuentro está previsto para el 3 de junio, y contará con los arquitectos Rafael Moneo y Benedetta Tagliabue. Seguidamente, el 10 de junio, serán Carme Pinós y Soraya Smithson las invitadas. Para la última sesión del día 17, próximamente se confirmarán los participantes.

Homenaje coral
Las actividades previstas están comisariadas por los arquitectos Benedetta Tagliabue y Joan Roig, y organizadas por la Fundación Enric Miralles con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona y la Generalitat de Cataluña, en colaboración con la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (ETSAB), el Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña (COAC) y el estudio de arquitectura Miralles Tagliabue EMBT.

El COAC contribueix en aquest homenatge coral amb un cicle de tres xerrades que comptarà amb la presencia d’arquitectes, acadèmics i artistes que compartiran les seves experiències amb Enric Miralles i conversaran sobre la seva trajectòria i influència.
La primera xerrada està prevista per al 3 de juny, i comptarà amb els arquitectes Rafael Moneo i Benedetta Tagliabue. Seguidament, el 10 de juny, seran Carme Pinós i Soraya Smithson les convidades. Per a la darrera sessió del dia 17, properament es confirmaran els participants.

ARCHITECTURE, A SUBJECT ON THE SYLLABUS OF MAGNET SCHOOLS SUPORTED BY THE COAC
In March, the time of pre-enrolment for primary and secondary schools, the schools with which the COAC works to introduce architecture into the classroom made a point of highlighting this important and differentiating factor on their syllabuses.
For the past three years, the COAC has been collaborating with the Camps Elisis school in Lleida and the Marià Fortuny school in Reus through the Magnet programme, a joint venture of the Jaume Bofill Foundation, the Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia, Barcelona Provincial Council, the Barcelona Education Consortium, and the Institute of Education Sciences of the UAB.
The aim of the Magnet programme is to tackle the issue of school segregation through partnerships with leading institutions. The COAC implements this through its educational programme, ArquiEscola, a project that aims to bring architecture to the classroom by providing teaching staff with the tools to provide a more structured viewpoint of our environment, and aims to foster critical thinking about the construction and transformation of the spaces we inhabit, and to stimulate creativity.
Two pioneering schools
With the slogan of Construïm junts (Let’s build together),the architects who developed the COAC programme at the Camps Elisis school collaborated closely with its teaching staff. The students worked across the board, experimenting with different materials and techniques, and teamwork was a constant feature throughout the programme. Together, they developed new symbolic play areas, created reading corners, and gave serious thought to how to create more sustainable cities, among other topics.
The Marià Fortuny school chose the slogan of Transformem la llum (Let’s transform light). The COAC’s architects and the teaching staff used the tinkering method of learning to create a sundial, a time lapse device, and experiments with black-and-white photography, all based on light and shadow. In addition, architecture students from the ETSA-URV visited the school to join in the project to redesign the playground, a very large space that they want to put to new uses.
