European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention AADIPA
The Architects' Association for the Defence of Intervention in the Architectural Heritage (AADIPA) and the Architects' Association of Catalunya announce the second European Award for Architectural Heritage Intervention, with the aim of distinguishing best practices in heritage and contributing to their dissemination.
The award stems from the conviction that heritage, as a vehicle for social integration and a catalyst for economic revitalization, deserves to be valued and encouraged. Thus, the dissemination and recognition of quality works and projects is essential.
The award is run by Ramon Calonge, Oriol Cusidó, Marc Manzano and Jordi Porta, architect members of AADIPA.
The rules of this second edition of the competition will be announced on December 23rd on its website.
The award is sponsored by Diputació de Tarragona and has the support of the Culture Department of Generalitat de Catalunya and Barcelona City Council.
