Entre els temes que es tractaran, s’explicarà com obrir i gestionar un despatx d’arquitectura i com treballar la teva marca personal. També es presentaran els serveis i eines de suport del COAC, com l’Oficina Consultora Tècnica o el Servei d’Ocupació.
Les primeres 5 sessions seran en format online i, per tancar el cicle, es farà un acte presencial per fomentar el networking entre arquitectes.

Save the Date - Fiesta Patronal de Comarcas Centrales
Será una velada en un entorno muy especial que podremos conocer a través de una visita guiada.
Como en las últimas ediciones, en el transcurso del evento se homenajeará al conjunto de arquitectos que cumplen 25 años de su colegiación y daremos la bienvenida a los nuevos y nuevas arquitectos de la Demarcación.
Próximamente os informaremos de la programación prevista para el acto.
Os invitamos a todas las personas colegiadas de la Demarcación a reservaros la tarde/noche del viernes 6 de octubre para celebrar la Fiesta Patronal. Entre todos y todas formáis parte del COAC y es por ello que queremos compartir esta fiesta con vosotros!
Llega una nueva edición del Ágora de Urbanismo
El Ágora de Urbanismo es un evento anual promovido y organizado por la Agrupación de Arquitectos Urbanistas de Cataluña (AAUC). Nació el año 2018 a partir de un convenio entre la Agrupación, el Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña (COAC) y el Departamento de Territorio y Sostenibilidad de la Generalitat de Catalunya (DTES).
Tiene la vocación de consolidarse como un espacio de referencia de la actividad del urbanismo en Cataluña, de encuentro entre técnicos y responsables a diferentes niveles, construyendo un catálogo de experiencias destacadas, ya sea por su interés técnico, por actuar en un espacio emblemático, por gestionar aspectos complejos, por la innovación que aportan, por el debate que pueden generar…
Así, recuperamos el espacio para encontrarnos y compartir impresiones, vernos con los compañeros y compañeras y comer juntos en el COAC. Próximamente se publicará el programa de la jornada y se abrirán las inscripciones, pero de momento... ¡reservaros la fecha en vuestras agendas!

Presentation and resolution of doubts about the competition for the commission of the Congress of the UIA BCN 2026
The COAC will hold a meeting on Tuesday 11 July at 5.45 pm to give a detailed explanation of the competition to select the team of curators for the World Congress of Architects of the International Union of Architects (UIA) Barcelona 2026 and answer any possible questions about the process and the rules.
The event will be led by the dean of the COAC, Guillem Costa Calsamiglia and the coordinator of the organising committee for World Congress of Architects Barcelona UIA 2026, Roger Subirà. They will be accompanied by the chair of the CSCAE, Marta Vall-llossera, and Gemma Ferré, Greta Tresserra and Pep Quílez, the secretary and voting members of the Governing Board, respectively, who will explain the experience in Copenhagen. Finally, Albert Porta, the managing director of Pràctica, will also take part.
The event is mainly aimed at architects, but also at professionals from other disciplines who are interested in participating. One of the objectives of the Congress is to show architecture as a crosscutting tool for improving life in society, opening the door to creating multidisciplinary teams. Though always led by an architecture professional, these teams will also incorporate profiles from other spheres.
The meeting will end with a concert by Albert Bello & Oriol Saña Quartet, integrated by guitarist and soloist Albert Bello, with Oriol Saña on the violin, Quim Martínez on the rhythm guitar and Joan Motera on the double bass. The concert will take place on the eighth floor and begin at 7 pm.
You must register in advance to attend the meeting.
For the first stage, with a deadline of 7 September, the submissions must determine the theme, motto and objectives of the Congress and its thematic and content development. Five finalist submissions will be selected in this first round and they will have to make a final submission before 15 November. The members of the team will be studied, as well as their professional profiles and career paths. The winning team will be announced during December 2023.
The competition awards 150,000 euros in fees for the winning team. A financial compensation package of 6,000 euros is also planned for the teams that make it to the second round but are not selected as the winner.
A jury of renowned prestige
The members of the team of curators will be chosen by the administrations promoting it, together with a committee of renowned and prestigious experts formed by the following architects: Ángela García de Paredes, Beth Capdeferro[Lt1] , Carme Pigem, José María Sánchez, Josep Bohigas, Josep Ferrando, Josep Lluís Mateo, María Hurtado de Mendoza, Philip Ursprung and
