Exposició internacional de projectes universitaris d’escoles d’arquitectura i paisatge

Un any més s'ha obert, en paral·lel a la 9a Biennal Internacional de Paisatge, la convocatòria per a l'Exposició Internacional de Projectes Universitaris en Escoles d'Arquitectura i Paisatge. El comitè organitzador de la Biennal considera que la participació de les obres didàctiques contribueix notablement a enriquir el debat sobre el paisatge.
Per a aquesta edició, 74 escoles han acceptat participar-hi, proporcionant els millors projectes universitaris de la seva escola / departament / programa / curs.Enguany, i per segona vegada, el Premi Internacional de Projectes Universitaris es posarà en marxa gràcies a la Fundació Banc Sabadell. La Universitat guanyadora triarà un estudiant per viatjar a Barcelona i assistir al Taller Intensiu Internacional del Màster d'Arquitectura del Paisatge (FPC). Els 11 finalistes formaran de l'exposició que tindrà lloc a l'ETSAB (Escola d'Arquitectura de Barcelona), del 28 de setembre al 19 d'octubre de 2016. Després la mostra itinerarà per diverses universitats europees.
La inauguració de l'exposició serà dijous 29 de setembre a les 19 h.

9th Barcelona International Biennial of Landscape Architecture

From September 29th to October 1st, the Barcelona International Biennial of Landscape Architecture will be held at Palau de la Música Catalana. The Biennial will also be broadcast live at the COAC Auditorium.
Tomorrow Landscapes
This year, with the title 'Tomorrow Landscapes', the Biennial aspires to be a catalyst for questions and a promoter of dreams and changes in the field of landscape architecture, in a situation in which regional and cultural disciplines are fluctuating between ruination and a state of emergency.
It is because of this quest to find new avenues for action, to explore possibly inhospitable environments, to rethink former certainties or to underline certain essential sensibilities, that this edition of the event has been convened: to make itself felt in discussions on what landscape should be within an international context and with a view to a credible future. Consequently, the Biennial has reviewed the scope, formats, formulas, concepts and objectives of the discipline while taking a critical viewpoint of itself as both an active platform and a watchtower of movements in international landscaping.
From 29 September to 1 October, Barcelona will be putting the spotlight on landscaping with a symposium that reflects the current situation. The three-day event includes conferences, round tables and presentations of the finalists for the Rosa Barba International Landscape Prize.
An ephemeral landscape to open the Biennial
On September 28th, a carpet of little plants will cover part of Plaça Nova in Barcelona, opposite the Architects’ Association, to usher in the 9th International Biennial of Landscape. This set-up, developed for the Biennial with the collaboration of Barcelona City Council, seeks to interact with the general public who are welcome to take the plants and leave them at other points in the city to help design the landscapes they imagine or would like to see.
The jury of the Rosa Barba International Landscape Prize, with the support of the Banc Sabadell Foundation, has selected 10 landscaping projects from around the world completed between 2011 and 2016. These finalists will present their projects during the Biennial, on 29th September. The award will be given on 1st October.

En el marc dels actes d'obertura de la 9a Biennal Internacional de Paisatge de Barcelona, dimecres 28 de setembre a partir de les 19 h tindrà lloc al COAC la inauguració d’una nova projecció sobre la instal·lació Maqueta Barcelona.
Aquest nou audiovisual, produït per l’Oficina de Paisatge del COAC, explicarà l'evolucació dels espais oberts de la ciutat de Barcelona.

AMB MOTIU DELS TREBALLS PREVIS A L'INICI DE LES OBRES DE LA FAÇANA DE PLAÇA NOVA, L'EXPOSICIÓ FINALITZA L'11 D'OCTUBRE.
Aquesta exposició recull els projectes seleccionats i finalistes del 9è Premi Internacional de Paisatge Rosa Barba, la convocatòria més prestigiosa del seu gènere i un dels esdeveniments més destacats de la 9a Biennal Internacional de Paisatge, que reuneix els projectes d’intervenció en el paisatge més importants realitzats a arreu del món des de 2011 fins a 2016.
L’exposició mostra les obres recollides en 5 categories:
· Finalistes: un resum dels 10 millors projectes que han participat en el concurs d’enguany;
· Articulació: projectes de connexió, com la infraestructura, grans carrers o fins i tot espais verds entre els edificis;
· Intersecció: places, punts d'intersecció a la ciutat;
· Regeneració: projectes de restauració, de les zones verdes, la reutilització del paisatge;
· Transició: projectes de "frontissa" entre dos sistemes diferents ( riu / ciutat, mar - ciutat).
La inauguració de l'exposició, juntament amb la inauguració de la mostra internacional de projectes universitaris d’escoles d’arquitectura i paisatge, serà dijous 29 de setembre a les 19 h.
