The exhibition of the XIV Biennial Alejandro de la Sota – Tarragona Architecture Exhibition, it can be seen in the exhibition hall of the Tarragona Demarcation of the College of Architects of Catalonia. (San Lorenzo Street, 20-22).

From May 2026, the exhibition will begin touring different cities in the Tarragona Demarcation.

This is a sample of the projects presented in this competition which aims to distinguish the most significant works that have been built in the 2023-2024 biennium in the territorial scope of the Demarcation (counties of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Tarragonès).
 
This year, of the 50 works entered in this Festival, the jury decided to select 15, of which 8 have passed to the next phase as finalist works. Finally, the jury decided to award 3 works as winners, where one of them has received the eighth Alejandro de la Sota Award and another the first Roser Galceran Award.
 
This exhibition, conceived as an open system with the capacity to adopt various geometries and adapt to different spaces, shows six audiovisuals that respond to each of the Biennial’s categories.

L’exposició de la XIV Biennal Alejandro de la Sota – Mostra d’Arquitectura de Tarragona, es podrà veure a la sala d’exposicions de la Demarcació de Tarragona del Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya. (Carrer Sant Llorenç, 20-22, Tarragona).
 
A partir del mes de maig de 2026 l’exposició iniciarà la itinerància per diferents ciutats de la Demarcació de Tarragona.
 
Es tracta d’una mostra dels projectes presentats en aquest certamen que té com a objectiu distingir les obres més significatives que s'han construït en el bienni 2023-2024 en l'àmbit territorial de la Demarcació (comarques de l'Alt Camp, el Baix Camp, el Baix Penedès, la Conca de Barberà, el Priorat i el Tarragonès).
 
Enguany, de les 50 obres inscrites en aquesta Mostra, el jurat ha decidit seleccionar-ne 15, de les quals 8 han passat a la següent fase com a obres finalistes. Finalment, el jurat ha decidit guardonar 3 obres com a guanyadores, on una d’elles ha rebut alhora el vuitè Premi Alejandro de la Sota i una altra el primer Premi Roser Galceran.
 
Aquesta exposició, concebuda com un sistema obert amb capacitat per adoptar diverses geometries i adaptar-se a diferents espais, mostra sis audiovisuals que responen a cadascuna de les categories de la Biennal.

La Demarcación de Tarragona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña convoca la XIV Bienal Alejandro de la Sota - Muestra de Arquitectura de Tarragona, el 8º Premio Alejandro de la Sota y el 1º Premio Roser Galceran.

El objetivo es distinguir las obras más significativas que se han construido en el bienio 2023-2024 en el ámbito territorial de la Demarcación (comarcas del Alt Camp, el Baix Camp, el Baix Penedès, la Conca de Barberà, el Priorat y el Tarragonès).

PARTICIPACIÓN
Cualquier persona, entidad o institución puede presentar las obras que considere oportunas en la Muestra, en las diferentes modalidades, con independencia de su tipología, programa y presupuesto.

INSCRIPCIÓN Y DOCUMENTACIÓN
A partir del martes 1 de julio de 2025 se abrieron las inscripciones. Las obras se podían presentar por vía telemática. El plazo de inscripciones finalizó el 30 de septiembre de 2025.

ACTO DE ENTREGA DE PREMIOS

Se hace el acto de entrega de premios, donde se desvela el veredicto del Jurado con las obras finalistas y premiadas y se entregan los premios.

El acto se inicia con la bienvenida del presidente de la Demarcación de Tarragona del COAC, Jordi Romera i Cid, y con la intervención del arquitecto Josep Llinàs.

A continuación se desvela el veredicto del Jurado con las obras seleccionadas, finalistas y premiadas. También se otorga el 8º Premio Alejandro de la Sota y el 1º Premio Roser Galceran.

Finalmente, se inaugura la exposición de esta muestra donde se pueden ver todas las obras que se han inscrito en este certamen.

The Tarragona Demarcation of the College of Architects of Catalonia announces the XIV Biennial Alejandro de la Sota - Tarragona Architecture Exhibition, the 8th Alejandro de la Sota Award and the 1st Roser Galceran Award.

The objective is to distinguish the most significant works that have been built in the 2023-2024 biennium in the territorial scope of the Demarcation (counties of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Tarragonès).

PARTICIPATION
Any person, entity or institution can present the works they consider appropriate to the Exhibition, in the different modalities, regardless of their typology, program and budget.

REGISTRATION AND DOCUMENTATION
Registrations opened on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Works could be submitted electronically. The registration period ended on September 30, 2025.

AWARDS CEREMONY

The awards ceremony will be held where the Jury's verdict with the finalist and winning works will be revealed and the prizes will be awarded.

The event begins with a welcome from the president of the Tarragona Demarcation of the COAC, Jordi Romera i Cid, and with the intervention of the architect Josep Llinàs.

The Jury's verdict is then revealed with the selected works, finalists and winners. The 8th Alejandro de la Sota Award and the 1st Roser Galceran Award are also awarded.

Finally, the exhibition of this sample is inaugurated where you can see all the works that have been entered in this contest.
