Concurso para el diseño y comisariado de la exposición de los Premios de Arquitectura de las Comarcas de Girona 2017
La Vocalía de Proyección y Cultura de la Demarcación de Girona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Catalunya (COAC) convoca un concurso para la contratación del proyecto de diseño y comisariado para la exposición de los Premios de Arquitectura de las Comarcas de Girona 2017.
Habrá una única fase de concurso, y se podrán presentar todas las personas físicas o jurídicas interesadas que tengan capacidad para contratar y estén colegiadas en el Colegio de Arquitectos de Catalunya.
El plazo máximo de recepción de solicitudes es a las 13.00 horas del día 10 de febrero de 2017. Las propuestas deberán ser presentadas por correo electrónico a la dirección cultura.gir@coac.cat, indicando en el asunto: CONCURSO PARA EL DISEÑO Y COMISARIADO DE LA EXPOSICIÓN DEL PREMIOS DE ARQUITECTURA DE LAS COMARCAS DE GIRONA 2017.

Nominated works for the EU Mies Award 2017
The European Commission and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe have announced the list of 356 works competing for the 2017 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.
The Prize is awarded biennially to works completed within the previous two years. The principal objective is to recognize and commend excellence and innovation in the field of architecture.
Among the 356 nominees there are 14 works by Catalan architects or architecture studios:

The correspondents network aims to enhance the oportunities to work abroad in the most qualified way, by exchanging mutual support and information. How to become a COAC correspondent
Conditions to apply:
-You have to be a member of the COAC in any of the available membership options.
-You must be practicing the profession and must have lived in the same country where you want to be a correspondent for at least one year.
-You should be willing to keep in touch with professional institutions and associations and act as a link between them and the COAC architects who need it.
How to apply:
You should email your application form to internacional@coac.cat, with "CORRESPONSALS-INTERNACIONAL" as subject, attaching a PDF file containing the documents specified in the terms of the call.
