Espai Barça jury selects proposal by HOK + TAC Arquitectes for...
FC Barcelona has announced that the Espai Barça jury has selected the bid by the HOK + TAC Arquitectes team as the winner of the architectural tender for the new Palau Blaugrana. The jury, formed by five members of FCB, three members of the COAC and one member of the City Council, made their decision after a careful study of the different proposals.

Finalists chosen for the architectural contest of the new Camp...
The jury has chosen the finalists of the architectural contest for the new Camp Nou and the new Palau Blaugrana, who will now develop their proposals, during the second phase of the selection process. From among 45 proposals, 8 teams have been selected for the new Estadium and 6 for the new Palau Blaugrana. The selection has been based on the recommendations made by the technical committee, composed of seven members of FC Barcelona and two representatives of the COAC.

As of now, issues 261 (2011) to 264 (2012) of 'Quaderns d’arquitectura i urbanisme' are available online.This new addition of journal issues is added to the digitization carried out by the COAC Library in previous years. St George's Day at COAC
On April 23, like every year, the COAC will be celebrating St George's Day with a special programme of activities.At the headquarters in Barcelona, bookstalls shall be installed from early morning by Cooperativa Jordi Capell and AJAC Association, with special offers and discounts. As is tradition, the Cooperativa has invited all the architects who have recently published a book to sign copies between 12 and 2 pm.
