L’experiència de les sessions del cicle Urbanisme Comparat, organitzat pel COAC a través de l’AAUC, dona origen a la present publicació, que apropa diferents realitats a tots aquells qui tenen interès per l'urbanisme. La publicació incorpora una novetat editorial que desitgem serà d’utilitat per al coneixement, debat i reflexió en el camp de l’urbanisme.
Amb format distès, obert i a través de converses variades, volem compartir aquest episodi de l’Urbanisme Comparat i aportar mirades diferents sobre l'exercici de la disciplina. Mirades per evolucionar i millorar.

Pedalada: "El Canal de la Infanta"
En mayo de 2019 se cumplieron los 200 años de vida del Canal de la Infanta, pero casi no tuvieron ningún tipo de eco. Por el contrario, el Canal tiene muchos más vestigios visibles a primera vista, que el Rec Comtal. Y además sus posibilidades de transformación urbana también son muy importantes.
Algunos de los lugares y nombres de las calles por donde pasaremos, ya denotan la permanencia del Canal: En Molins: Casa de las Compuertas del Canal, Calle del Canal de la Infanta. En Sant Feliu de Llobregat y Sant Joan Despí: Paseo del Canal. En Cornellà de Llobregat: Parque del Canal. En L'Hospitalet de Llobregat: Parque de la Remonta, Plaza del Repartidor. En Barcelona, a pesar de casi hayan desaparecido sus vestigios, pasaremos por la Bordeta y la Marina para finalizar la ruta en Can Tunis. No habrá que entrar en el Puerto Autónomo de Barcelona, porque la desembocadura del Canal estaba al pie de la montaña de Montjuïc.
Esta vez tendremos el privilegio de contar, como relatores de la jornada, con Eva Jiménez, Xavier Llobet y Ferran Sagarra, arquitectos y autores del trabajo: “Estudio previo para la recuperación del Canal de la Infanta y el Rec Vell”.
El punto de encuentro será a las 10:00 h en la Plaza de la Estación de Molins de Rei (Renfe R1 y R4) y acabaremos hacia las 14:30 ha Can Tunis, con el tradicional almuerzo-coloquio en un restaurante del Barrio de La Marina (a determinar).
Los participantes deberán llevar su propia bicicleta, no existe la posibilidad de alquilar una.
Se requiere inscripción previa.
La visita es gratuita para los miembros de la AAUC. De lo contrario tendrá un coste de 10 euros.

Taller de fotografia: Forma i llum en la fotografia d'arquitectura. La transformació de Bombas Gens
La Delegació del Vallès organitza, el proper 20 de gener a les 18.00 h, el taller gratuït de fotografia "Foto i llum en la fotografia d'arquitectura".
En aquest taller el fotògraf Frank Gómez ens explicarà el paper que juga la llum en la composició i representació de les fotografies arquitectòniques analitzant el procés del seguiment fotogràfic de la rehabilitació del Centre d'Art Bombas Gens a València, obra dels arquitectes Ramón Esteve i Eduardo de Miguel.

BOOK LAUNCH OF 'ARXIU HISTÒRIC COL·LEGI D’ARQUITECTES DE CATALUNYA. DIBUIXOS D’ARQUITECTURA. DIBUJOS DE ARQUITECTURA. ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS'
To mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Historical Archive of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia we have published a book that contains a selection of the collection of nearly two million documents held in the Archive’s repositories.
The book contains 155 emblematic drawings from a broad historical period, ranging from an elevation of the Mountain of Montserrat—showing the location of its buildings in 1778—to a watercolour for a project in Bordeaux in 2018 by the RCR architectural practice. All the illustrations are accompanied by a brief technical description and the basic biographical details of the architect in question.
For the occasion, 39 people—mainly architects, but also professionals from other disciplines such as photography, art history and fine art, among others—were asked to write something about the chosen drawings. The works selected are thus further enhanced by a complementary point of view.
The purpose of the publication is to create a little treasure: an opulent book with outstanding print quality that will make the perfect gift for slow, leisurely perusal. The book will be available for purchase on the same day as the launch at an authorised stand, and from 18 December from the Jordi Capell Cooperative.
Talks between some of the authors to present the book
On Tuesday 17 December at 7pm, as part of the celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of the Historical Archive, we will be presenting the book entitled Arxiu Històric Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya. Dibuixos d’Arquitectura. Dibujos de Arquitectura. Architectural Drawings.
The book launch will take the form of a conversation between three of the authors of some of the texts: architects Irma Arribas and Carolina B. Garcia-Estévez and photographer Manolo Laguillo, and the joint publisher of the book, Josep Ferrando, also an architect and the member of the COAC's cultural programme.
