Arxiu Jujol donates the Barcelona projects of architect Josep Maria Jujol to the Architects’ Association
The last exhibition that the Architects’ Association devoted to Josep Maria Jujol was in 2015. On that occasion, as part of the ‘COAC Collections’ series of exhibitions, the mezzanine of the Plaça Nova headquarters hosted an exhibition of original documents —some of which had never been shown before— relating to various projects of the multifaceted architect, who was born in Tarragona in 1879 and died in Barcelona in 1949.
Barcelona City Council awards the tender to improve the Rambla to the Km-ZERO team
The tender, presented at the COAC in May, envisages the transformation of this iconic city thoroughfare based on civic and local parameters so that the urban development actions that need to be taken can be planned based on a social analysis and the most appropriate use of space.
The winning project is the proposal that received the highest score from the jury, which was made up of a representative of the Architects’ Association, internal staff from the City Council and representatives of the Association of Civil Engineers, the Association of Political Scientists and Sociologists, and the Geographers’ Association of Catalonia.
The winning team
The Km-ZERO team has in-depth knowledge of the Rambla and is made up of 15 professionals from different backgrounds: Itziar González (architect), Arnau Boix (architect), Lola Domènech (architect), Olga Tarrasó (architect), Jordi Quiñonero (sociologist), Paul B. Preciado (philosopher), Josep Selga (biologist), Ole Thorson (civil engineer), Sergi Cutillas (economist), Ernest Cañada (geographer), Albert Conesa (industrial engineer), Sebastià Ribot (civil engineer), Cristina Pedraza (quantity surveyor), Pablo Feu (lawyer) and Pere Mogas (urban planner).
The winning proposal
The most noteworthy points of the winning project were 'a very accurate identification of the most important aspects and a clear methodology to find solutions for urban problems and citizen participation'. With regard to urban problems, the project put forward a plan for managing spaces that attract large crowds, including strategies for changing commercial practices dedicated to tourism and encouraging the use of space by local citizens.
The proposal also envisages developing housing policies to bring back local residents to the Rambla, actions to improve the accessibility of public transport, and measures to restrict the use of private vehicles. The project also seeks to connect the Rambla with the network of free open spaces in the area, with a particular emphasis on Ciutadella Park
The next steps
From the time work starts, the winning team will have six months to document the strategies for action, which must include four cross-cutting documents: a plan for managing spaces that attract large crowds of people; a plan for community revitalization and the activation of temporary uses; a plan for cultural and facility management, and a draft project for the urban planning of the public space in and around the Rambla.
Once this task has been completed, the team will need to start working on the urban development project. The forecast is that the executive project will be completed by the autumn of 2018 so work can start in early 2019.
Tramitación electrónica completa de las cédulas de habitabilidad
El pasado 27 de septiembre el Área TIC de la Agència de l’Habitatge de Catalunya puso en funcionamiento una serie de cambios en su aplicativo de cédulas de habitabilidad a fin de implementar la tramitación electrónica completa, que incluye, entre otras, las notificaciones electrónicas.
Desde esta fecha están operativos los nuevos formularios de cédulas en GSIT (Gestión de Servicios y Trámites, antigua OVT) con las modificaciones siguientes:
- Renovaciones de cédulas de habitabilidad de segunda ocupación, solicitudes de cédulas de habitabilidad para viviendas construidas anteriores a 11/08/1984, y solicitudes de cédulas de habitabilidad para viviendas construidas posteriormente al 11/08/1984, todas ellas con necesidad de número de tramitación colegial, los nuevos formularios para estos trámites incorporan un nuevo apartado para ser notificado electrónicamente.
Al marcar esta opción se aceptan las notificaciones electrónicas y por lo tanto cualquier notificación (requerimientos, resoluciones...) se harán por este medio.
- Se han desarrollado tres nuevos formularios para los siguientes trámites en los cuales no es necesario el trámite colegial previo: renovaciones de cédulas de habitabilidad de segunda ocupación, solicitudes de cédulas de habitabilidad para viviendas construidas anteriores a 11/08/1984, y solicitudes de cédulas de habitabilidad para viviendas construidas posteriormente al 11/08/1984, sin necesidad de registro colegial. Estos nuevos formularios únicamente pueden ser rellenados y entregados por los técnicos y también incorporan la aceptación de notificaciones electrónicas.
Hay que tener presente que las plantillas de los formularios de solicitud de cédula que se estaban utilizando antes del día 27 ya no se podrán utilizar para hacer los trámites en la web de Trámites de la Generalitat.
Tramitació electrònica completa de les cèdules d’habitabilitat
El passat 27 de setembre l’Agència de l’Habitatge de Catalunya va posar en funcionament una sèrie de canvis a l'aplicació de cèdules d’habitabilitat per tal d’implementar la tramitació electrònica completa.
Des d’aquesta data estan operatius els nous formularis de cèdules a GSIT (Gestió de Serveis i Tràmits, antiga OVT), així com millores dins la pròpia aplicació de cèdules, que inclou, entre altres, les notificacions electròniques.
Les modificacions que afecten als formularis són:

Els següents formularis, que necessiten com fins ara el número de tramitació col·legial, han incorporat un nou apartat per a la notificació electrònica, de manera que, en marcar-lo, s'accepta que qualsevol notificació (requeriments, resolucions...) es faci per aquest mitjà.

S’han desenvolupat tres nous formularis. Amb aquests formularis, a diferència del que passava fins ara, no és necessari el tràmit col·legial previ:

· Sol·licituds de cèdules d’habitabilitat per habitatges construïts abans
de l'11/08/1984
· Sol·licituds de cèdules d’habitabilitat per habitatges construïts
posteriorment a l'11/08/1984.
Aquests nous formularis només poden ser omplerts i lliurats pels tècnics i també incorporen l’acceptació de notificacions electròniques.
Cal tenir present que les plantilles dels formularis que s’estaven utilitzant abans del dia 27 de setembre ja no es podran utilitzar al web de Tràmits de la Generalitat, de manera que s'han de descarregar els nous formularis.
