Exhibition 'Cities Connection Project · Architectures in transition'
This edition of 'Cities Connection Project · Architectures in transition' connects Metropolitan Barcelona with the European regions of Wallonia-Brussels, Luxembourg and Gran Est, expanding the network of professionals and institutions involved. The reuse of built heritage and social responsibility are the common points of the 60 projects on display, showing different approaches and processes tested by architects from heterogeneous contexts.
Climate change and new sustainability policies are increasingly having an impact on architectural practice, which is considered from a more ethical position with respect to the natural environment. Prioritization of rehabilitation over demolition, sustainable and environmentally friendly construction systems, as well as the normalization of an architecture attentive to the circular economy, with the reuse of materials, indicate that both the architect and the rest of the agents involved are beginning to become aware as socially responsible actors.
This CCP07 edition shows a series of architectural projects in transition, basically of public promotion and of a high quality, which favor the reuse of existing spaces, the intelligent use of constructive systems and durable materials, buildings with more energy efficiency, as well as mixed programs that contribute to the grouping of activities and the interaction between users. In short, projects that show a transition towards a more ethical architecture with less environmental impact, a long process full of obstacles, but irreversible, after all.
The exhibition can be seen from February 20 to April 11, in the COAC Tarragona exhibition hall. Within the programming of the 'Cities Connection Project · Architectures in transition' we will have the opportunity to enjoy three conferences:

Cities Connection Project en Tarragona
Llega a la Demarcación de Tarragona del Colegio de Arquitectos de Cataluña (COAC) la edición de 'Cities Connection Project · Arquitecturas en transición'.
Fundada por los arquitectos Nicola Regusci y Xavier Bustos en 2012, Cities Connection Project promueve intercambios entre estudios de arquitectura de diferentes territorios, con el objetivo de crear una red de conexiones culturales entre ciudades, destacando la arquitectura y el urbanismo contemporáneos. La conexión se desarrolla en 3 etapas, sucesivamente en cada una de las 3 ciudades que participan en el intercambio, con una exposición que muestra 60 proyectos hechos por arquitectos jóvenes, una serie de debates y conferencias, una publicación con los proyectos seleccionados y visitas guiadas. Cada edición alrededor de una nueva temática común que genera un espacio de reflexión compartida.
Las ediciones anteriores han conectado Barcelona con el Cantó Ticino, Ginebra i Zúric, con la vivienda pública como tema en común, con el Arco Lémanique, tratando del espacio público, y con Valonia-Bruselas, con proyectos que reactivan la ciudad. La edición anterior, CCP06, volvió a conectar Barcelona con Valonia-Bruselas y una tercera ciudad, Basilea, alrededor de los espacios de vida compartida.
En esta nueva edición, el tema es arquitecturas en transición _ reutilización del patrimonio construido y responsabilidad social, que conecta la Barcelona Metropolitana con las regiones europeas de Valonia-Bruselas, Luxemburgo y Gran Este, ampliando la red de profesionales e instituciones implicadas.
La exposición se podrá ver del 20 de febrero al 11 de abril, en la sala de exposiciones del COAC Tarragona. Dentro de la programación del 'Cities Connection Project · Arquitecturas en transición' tendremos la oportunidad de disfrutar de tres conferencias:

Cities Connection Project in Tarragona
The edition of 'Cities Connection Project · Architectures in Transition' arrives in the Tarragona Region of the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC).
Founded by the architects Nicola Regusci and Xavier Bustos in 2012, the Cities Connection Project promotes exchanges between architectural studios from different territories, with the aim of creating a network of cultural connections between cities, highlighting contemporary architecture and urban planning. The connection is developed in 3 stages, successively in each of the 3 cities participating in the exchange, with an exhibition showing 60 projects made by young architects, a series of debates and conferences, a publication with the selected projects and guided tours. Each edition around a new common theme that generates a space for shared reflection.
The previous editions have connected Barcelona with Canton Ticino, Geneva and Zurich, with public housing as a common theme, with the Arc Lémanique, dealing with public space, and with Wallonia-Brussels, with projects that reactivate the city. The previous edition, CCP06, reconnected Barcelona with Wallonia-Brussels and a third city, Basel, around shared living spaces.

presentació del llibre 'Gaudí a Tànger'
Aquesta obra sorgeix de la recerca realitzada pels autors sobre el projecte de Gaudí per a les Missions Francescanes de Tànger, basat en la lectura i l'anàlisi de la documentació gràfica conservada i sobre el context d'aquest encàrrec a l'internacional Tànger de finals del segle XIX. “Gaudí a Tànger” treu a la llum un projecte que conté solucions totalment innovadores que, tot i que Gaudí no va poder arribar a construir, constitueixen un precedent únic i revelador de la seva futura obra i de la seva forma de crear. Els treballs realitzats per Gaudí en aquest projecte de Tànger van ser aprofitats o adaptats en obres posteriors (església i cripta de la Colònia Güell projectades entre 1898-1908; temple expiatori de la Sagrada Família 1884-1926, ...). En ell va estar treballant més de dos anys (1892-1893), durant els quals va realitzar nombrosos dibuixos en planta, alçats, seccions i detalls. Aquesta obra és un estudi sobre un projecte primerenc i poc conegut de Gaudí que no es va arribar a construir malgrat que el va considerar "el projecte de la seva vida".
