The edition of 'Cities Connection Project · Architectures in Transition' arrives in the Tarragona Region of the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC).

Founded by the architects Nicola Regusci and Xavier Bustos in 2012, the Cities Connection Project promotes exchanges between architectural studios from different territories, with the aim of creating a network of cultural connections between cities, highlighting contemporary architecture and urban planning. The connection is developed in 3 stages, successively in each of the 3 cities participating in the exchange, with an exhibition showing 60 projects made by young architects, a series of debates and conferences, a publication with the selected projects and guided tours. Each edition around a new common theme that generates a space for shared reflection.

The previous editions have connected Barcelona with Canton Ticino, Geneva and Zurich, with public housing as a common theme, with the Arc Lémanique, dealing with public space, and with Wallonia-Brussels, with projects that reactivate the city. The previous edition, CCP06, reconnected Barcelona with Wallonia-Brussels and a third city, Basel, around shared living spaces.

In this new edition, the theme is architectures in transition _ reuse of built heritage and social responsibility, which connects Metropolitan Barcelona with the European regions of Wallonia-Brussels, Luxembourg and Gran Est, expanding the network of professionals and institutions involved.

The exhibition can be seen from February 20 to April 11,in the COAC Tarragona exhibition hall. Within the programming of the 'Cities Connection Project · Architectures in Transition' we will have the opportunity to enjoy three conferences:
