QUESTION 1: In the first phase I, "C. INDICATIVE BUDGET An indicative estimate of the budget that includes the productions, exhibitions, congress events and others proposed by the team", the question is if a value is not presented, would it be cause for rejection? That is, the items to be included or budgeted are mentioned, however, no value would be mentioned in this first phase, if so, would the proposal be rejected regardless of whether it meets the other two items of selection criteria?
ANSWER 1: The rules of the contest detail which are the items that must be included in the 700,000 euros and which are excluded. The 700K euros are NOT the full budget of the congress. In the proposal, the teams must explain how they would use these 700K euros for the actions they propose and that are against this budget. Teams can also propose actions that could be the subject of private sponsorship if they consider it so. It will be the task of the jury to assess the clarity and suitability of the budget presented by the teams in the whole of the proposal presented.
QUESTION 2: If it is mandatory to participate to fulfil the estimate of the budget, how many people are expected to attend? since the areas or spaces object of application depend on this.
ANSWER 2: As indicated in the rules, the rental of congress spaces is not within the budget of 700K or its preparation. An infrastructural endowment should only be provided if spaces are proposed for the sessions without any preparation to host events of this type (for example, a park or open space). It should be borne in mind that the final decision on the specific spaces in which the congress will be held will be taken jointly between the winners of the contest and the organization, trying to choose the spaces that best adapt to the congress structure that emerges from the contest. It is not possible at this time to venture how many attendees we will have, although as a reference, between 6000 and 7000 congressmen attended the Copenhagen congress.
QUESTION 3: Would publicly owned or operated convention centers have any costs? that is, would they be included in the budget for their use?
ANSWER 3: Whatever the space chosen, public or private, within the 700K there is no need to foresee the rental cost of those spaces.
QUESTION 4: If the team applies and any of them want to retire, can they do so? except the project manager.
ANSWER 4: The first round of the contest is anonymous. So the assessment of the capacity of the proposed team will only occur in the second round of the jury for the 5 finalists. In this second session, the jury will be able to ask questions and talk with the teams and these types of issues can be addressed directly between the team and the jury. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FIRST ROUND IS ANONYMOUS AND NO NAME OF THE PROPOSED TEAM FOR THE COMMISSIONER CAN APPEAR ON THE 4 A3 PANELS.
QUESTION 5: In relation to language, which language is preferable to present the panels? Do all the members of the jury know Catalan, Spanish and English?
ANSWER 5: The documentation can be submitted in any of the languages provided: Catalan, Spanish or English. From the organization we will attach translations of the texts present in the panels when necessary for the understanding of the jury.
QUESTION 6: In relation to the registration form of the first phase, we see that they ask for a responsible declaration of being up to date with the tax and Social Security obligations of all team members. We have a team with an international profile, with several people who do not live or have never lived in Spain, do they also have to file the declaration? Do you have a model declaration in English that could be useful in this case?
ANSWER 6: The responsible statement can be joint for all members, including international ones. It does not need to be an official paper; it is enough with a text written and signed by the contestants. In the case of teams that pass to the second phase, from the organization we will analyze if it is necessary to request any documentation to verify the veracity of the declaration.

PREGUNTA 1: En la primera fase I, "C. PRESUPUESTO ORIENTATIVO Una estimación orientativa del presupuesto que incluya las producciones, exposiciones, eventos congresuales y otros propuestos por el equipo", la pregunta es si no se presenta un valor, ¿Sería causa de rechazo? Es decir, se mencionan los ítems a incluir o ha presupuestar, sin embargo, no se mencionaría valor en esta primera fase, de ser así ¿Se rechazaría la propuesta independientemente de que cumpla con los otros dos ítems de criterios de selección?
RESPUESTA 1: Las bases del concurso detallan cuáles son las partidas que se deben incluir en los 700.000 euros y cuáles quedan excluidas. Los 700K euros NO son el presupuesto completo del congreso. En la propuesta, los equipos deben exponer cómo utilizarían éstos 700K euros para las acciones que propongan y que estén contra este presupuesto. Los equipos pueden, además proponer acciones que podrían ser objeto de patrocinios privados si así lo consideran. Será labor del jurado valorar la claridad e idoneidad del presupuesto presentado por los equipos en el conjunto de la propuesta presentada.
PREGUNTA 2: De ser obligatorio para concursar la estimación del presupuesto ¿Cuántas personas están previstas que asistan? ya que de esto dependen las áreas o espacios objeto de postulación.
RESPUESTA 2: Como se indica en las bases, el alquiler de los espacios congresuales no está dentro del presupuesto de 700K ni su preparación. Solo hay que prever una dotación infraestructural si se proponen espacios para las sesiones sin ninguna preparación para acoger eventos de este tipo (por ejemplo, un parque o espacio abierto). Hay que tener en cuenta que la decisión final sobre los espacios concretos en los que se celebrará el congreso se tomará de forma conjunta entre los vencedores del concurso y la organización, intentando escoger los espacios que mejor se adapten a la estructura congresual que emerja del concurso. No es posible en estos momentos aventurar cuantos asistentes tendremos, aunque como referencia, en el congreso de Copenhague asistieron entre 6000 y 7000 congresistas.
PREGUNTA 3: ¿Los centros de convenciones de propiedad o administración pública, tendrían algún costo? Es decir, se incluirían en el presupuesto para su utilización?
RESPUESTA 3: Sea cual sea el espacio escogido, público o privado, dentro de los 700K no hay que prever un coste de alquiler de esos espacios.
PREGUNTA 4: ¿Si se postula el equipo y alguno de estos quiere retirarse lo puede hacer? excepto el director del proyecto.
RESPUESTA 4: La primera vuelta del concurso es anónima. Así que la valoración de la capacidad del equipo propuesto solo se producirá en la segunda vuelta del jurado para los 5 finalistas. En esta segunda sesión, el jurado podrá hacer preguntas y conversar con los equipos y se podrán abordar este tipo de cuestiones directamente entre el equipo y el jurado. Importante: como la primera vuelta es anónima y no puede aparecer ningún nombre del equipo propuesto para el comisariado en los 4 paneles A3.
PREGUNTA 5: En relación con el idioma, ¿qué idioma es preferible para presentar los paneles? ¿Todos los miembros del jurado conocen el catalán, el castellano y el inglés?
RESPUESTA 5: La documentación se puede presentar en cualquiera de los idiomas previstos: catalán, castellano o inglés. Desde la organización adjuntaremos traducciones de los textos presentes en los paneles cuando sea necesario para la comprensión del conjunto del jurado.
PREGUNTA 6: En relación con el formulario de inscripción de la primera fase, vemos que piden una declaración responsable de estar al corriente con las obligaciones tributarias y de la Seguridad Social de todos los miembros del equipo. Tenemos un equipo de perfil internacional, con varias personas que no viven o no han vivido nunca en España, ¿deben presentar también la declaración? ¿Tienen algún modelo de declaración en inglés que podría servir en este caso?
RESPUESTA 6: La declaración responsable puede ser conjunta para todos los miembros, incluso los internacionales. No es necesario que sea un papel oficial, es suficiente con un texto redactado y firmado por los concursantes. En el caso de los equipos que pasen a la segunda fase, desde la organización analizaremos si es necesario pedir alguna documentación para comprobar la veracidad de la declaración.
El futur Spotify Camp Nou, Premi Internacional d'Arquitectura IAA 2023
Concretament, aquest disseny renovat vol aconseguir un equilibri entre preservar i realçar l'essència del Projecte de Mitjans, Soteras i García-Barbón inaugurat el 1957, i l'obertura, la transparència i el vincle amb la ciutat i el veïnat de les Corts, tal com es concebia originalment en la proposta de Nikken Sekkei i Pascual-Ausió Arquitectes presentada el 2016.
A més a més, el projecte compta amb una ambiciosa revisió arquitectònica per reforçar la identitat blaugrana, la relació amb la tradició i l'arquitectura catalana, i la reordenació dels espais interiors per millorar el confort, l'accessibilitat i la seguretat dels espectadors, tot augmentant el potencial econòmic i minimitzant les repercussions sobre els socis.
La transformació integral de l’Spotify Camp Nou el convertirà en l'estadi més gran d'Europa, amb capacitat per acollir 104.000 espectadors. El projecte es caracteritza pel fet que conserva l'estructura de les dues graderies originals del 1957, afegeix una nova estructura que alberga la tercera graderia, i introdueix nivells dobles d'àrees d'hospitalitat i una coberta que abasta tota la capacitat de l'Estadi.
Un estadi de referència en sostenibilitat i tecnologia
La sostenibilitat s'ha convertit en l'ADN de l'Estadi, subratllant el seu compromís amb la promoció de la mobilitat sostenible facilitant l'accés a l'Estadi en transport públic i fomentant la mobilitat elèctrica. En la mateixa línia, s'aconseguirà l'estalvi i l'eficiència energètica mitjançant la instal·lació de 18.000 m2 de plaques fotovoltaiques a la nova coberta, que generaran prou electricitat per alimentar 600 habitatges del districte de l'Eixample. A més, s'instal·larà un sistema geotèrmic i un sistema de calefacció i refrigeració urbana que reduirà un 30% el consum energètic, i l'aigua de pluja recollida de la coberta es reutilitzarà per regar tota la vegetació del futur campus 10 vegades l'any. Pel que fa a la biodiversitat, la fauna autòctona ja està protegida i la cobertura forestal s'ha incrementat un 15%.
Així mateix, el futur Spotify Camp Nou incorporarà tecnologies punteres, dues pantalles de 360º a la segona i tercera graderia, i tres videomarcadors de 26x9 metres que oferiran una nova experiència al públic. També es millorarà el sistema de seguretat i control d'accés, i s'explotaran al màxim les possibilitats que ofereix la connectivitat 5G.
Els premis IAA, entre els més distingits a escala internacional
Els premis IAA, en la vintena edició, són un dels premis internacionals més antics i es troben entre els més distingits en termes de reconèixer l'excel·lència en projectes a escala mundial. L'any 2023, la competició va rebre una xifra superior a les 750 propostes.

XIII Alejandro de la Sota Biennial
The objective is to distinguish the most significant works that have been built in the 2021-2022 biennium in the territorial scope of the Demarcation (counties of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Tarragonès) .
From Monday 31 July 2023 registrations opened. Works could be submitted online. The registration period ended on Thursday, September 29, 2023.

The event begins with the welcome of the president of the Tarragona Demarcation of the COAC, Jordi Romera i Cid, and with the intervention of the architect Josep Llinàs.
Next, the secretary of the Biennial reveals the Jury's verdict with the selected, finalist and winning works. The 7th Alejandro de la Sota Prize is also awarded.
The dean of the COAC, Guim Costa Calsamiglia, closes the event.
Next, we have the opportunity to listen to a lecture by Cierto Estudio. The architect Carlota de Gispert has been a member of the jury of the XIII Alejandro de la Sota Biennial - Mostra d'Arquitectura de Tarragona.
