Ciclo de charlas sobre la transformación urbana y social de Ciutat Vella

El 4 de Junio a las 19:30 h se inicia en la sala de actos de la sede de plaça Nova el ciclo ‘Charlas x Ciutat Vella', promovido por el Colectivo Acciones Urbanas y la Red Vecinal de Ciutat Vella.
El ciclo se plantea con cinco encuentros —en diferentes espacios del distrito, uno por cada barrio— que tienen la finalidad de promover reflexiones concretas sobre un distrito que, lejos de ser un gueto lúdico o un parque temático, sigue siendo un corazón que late por toda la ciudad .
Así, en los cuatro primeros encuentros una persona de perfil académico o intelectual hablará sobre un aspecto notable de Ciutat Vella tocando diferentes ámbitos (historia, arquitectura, demografía, comercio) con el fin de aportar visiones y conocimiento sobre cómo el centro histórico ha cambiado y está cambiando. El último encuentro será una ponencia sobre todo el proceso de transformación urbana vivido por Ciutat Vella desde 1979.
En estos encuentros, una persona ligada al mundo vecinal, asociativo o participativo aportará su comentario sobre el tema de la charla, fomentando el debate en la sala para el turno de preguntas.
Los encuentros se realizarán cada miércoles a las 19:30 h del 4 de Junio al 2 de Julio de 2014: 'Turismo y Vida' (4 de Junio), 'Demografía y sociedad' (11 de Junio), 'Orden y limpieza' (18 de Junio),' Puerto y ciudad' (25 de Junio) e 'Identidad y planeamiento' (2 de Julio).

Cicle de xerrades sobre la transformació urbana i social de Ciutat Vella

El cicle es planteja amb cinc trobades —en diferents espais del districte, un per cada barri— que tenen la finalitat de promoure reflexions concretes sobre un districte que, lluny de ser un gueto lúdic o un parc temàtic, continua sent un cor que batega per tota la ciutat.
Així, a les quatre primeres trobades una persona de perfil acadèmic o intel·lectual parlarà sobre un aspecte notable de Ciutat Vella tocant diferent àmbits (història, arquitectura, demografia, comerç) amb la finalitat d'aportar visions i coneixement sobre com el centre històric ha canviat i està canviant. La darrera trobada serà una ponència sobre tot el procés de transformació urbana viscut per Ciutat Vella des del 1979.
En aquestes trobades, una persona lligada al món veïnal, associatiu o participatiu aportarà el seu comentari sobre el tema de la xerrada, fomentant el debat a la sala en el següent torn de preguntes.

Submission and selection of papers
For participating on the Seminar with a paper, everybody will have to send in the terms established in compliance with the formal requirements and proposals, a summary or abstract that will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee for acceptance. Papers have to be within one of the subject areas and respond to general questions asked.
The Organizing Committee and the Scientific propose a model of scientific paper for submission of communications. The selection will be completed by the summary sent to the authors, according to the attached template.
Considerations
- The abstracts will be sent to the organizing committee before, July 15th 2014, in Word format and e- mail only.
- The official languages are Catalan, Spanish or English.
- The file name will follow the proposed model: Subject Area_Surname of main author_Name of main author_Title of the article (lower case, maximum 50 characters) For example : intervenciones_pitarch_gerard_la tourette

-After July 30th, 2014 will be announced the accepted papers and the type of participation.
- The full text of selected papers will be sent to the Organizing Committee before September 30th, 2014.
