Jornada tècnica sobre com protegir i reparar estructures de formigó
El proper 8 d'octubre d'11.30 a 13.30 h tindrà lloc a la seu de plaça Nova de Barcelona la Jornada Tècnica gratuïta organitzada pel Campus Professional de l'Escola Sert i ANFAPA, l'Assosciació de fabricants de morters, que tractarà sobre "Com protegir i reparar estructures de formigó".
La simbiosi del formigó, amb la seva capacitat de resistir compressions, i l’acer, amb la de resistir traccions i esforços tallants, juntament amb la possibilitat de crear formes per modelat, ha fet que s’hagin imposat a la majoria d’estructures d’edificis i obra civil.
Tot i així, el formigó armat és vulnerable. La creixent contaminació del medi ambient transforma les seves característiques i la seva pròpia estructura porosa el fan permeable provocant corrosió a les armadures.
En aquesta jornada s'explicaran les mesures a dur a terme per protegir i reparar les estructures de formigó deteriorades. També es parlarà sobre la normativa d'aplicació EN 1504, els principis generals per a l'ús de productes i sistemes i casos pràctics de rehabilitació d’edificis residencials i d'obra civil.

Finalists chosen for the architectural contest of the new Camp Nou
From among 45 proposals, 8 teams have been selected for the new Estadium and 6 for the new Palau Blaugrana. The selection has been based on the recommendations made by the technical committee, composed of seven members of FC Barcelona and two representatives of the COAC.
The jury is formed by five members of FC Barcelona, three members from the COAC and one representative of Barcelona CIty Council. Representing FC Barcelona we find Josep Maria Bartomeu, Susana Monje, Jordi Moix, Emili Rousaud and architect Juan Pablo Mitjans. The COAC members are Lluís Comerón and architects Arcadi Pla and Joan Forgas, whilst the representative of the City Council is Aurora López, City Director of Urban Planning.
The studios will have until the end of the year to hand in their proposals. After careful examination of the proposals and the final selection of the candidates by the technical committee, the jury will announce the winning projects.
Curatorial team appointed for the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale
Aftermath_conseqüències presents a dialogue between the architectural and cinematic languages and proposes to unify both disciplines in an installation that will create cross-narratives of the selected projects through visual and sound connections, materials or concepts. The theme of the project focuses on the exploration of the works of Catalan architecture and their relationship to public space, landscape, city, local culture and art.
In the presentation of the project, Jaume Prat explained that they started with the premise that "architecture begins when architects leave the work and the life of the building starts. That is when the different landscapes converge: urban, human, social, etc". Among the buildings displayed, there will be the Hospital Transfronterer in Cerdanya, by Brullet-Pineda Arquitectes; Centre de Repartiment d’Aliments SDA de Campclar, by NUA Arquitectes; the Environmental restoration of the Llobregat banks, by Batlle i Roig; and the Atlantida Theatre in Vic, by Josep Llinàs, Josep Llobet, Pedro Ayesta and Laia Vives.
The jury responsible for selecting the winner, headed by architect Carme Pinós, was formed by Jordi Ros, architect and director of ETSAB; Eva Prats, architect; Lluís Comerón, dean of the COAC; Fernando Marzà, COAC board member; and Damià Martínez, director of Creation at Institut Ramon Llull.
Catalonia's participation at the Architecture Biennale of Venice is driven by the Institut Ramon Llull, with the support of the Department of Culture and the Department of Planning and Sustainability.

El proper 7 d'octubre, de 16 a 20 h, tindrà lloc a la Sala d'Actes del Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya la jornada d'orientació professional i laboral ARQ'15: La professió d’arquitecte avui dia. Noves perspectives i oportunitats.
L’exercici de la professió ha experimentat una transformació per tal d’adaptar-se als canvis socials, tecnològics i econòmics que han tingut lloc a la nostra societat en els darrers anys. Així, s’ha produït una diversificació dels rols professionals i han aparegut nous perfils que han canviat el concepte tradicional de l’ofici d’arquitecte.
La formació, implicació social i capacitació dels arquitectes per resoldre problemes i abordar situacions complexes ha permès potenciar la seva participació activa a la societat actual per tal de gestionar un futur millor.
En la jornada es parlarà sobre quins són els diferents perfils professionals que l’arquitecte pot desenvolupar actualment en el mercat i que ofereixen opcions reals de feina, tant en l’àmbit professional com laboral.
L’acte comptarà amb les intervencions d’arquitectes que estan desenvolupant projectes de referència en temàtiques molt diverses i demostraran com els temps de crisis són també temps d’oportunitats.
La jornada és gratuïta i oberta a arquitectes i estudiants d'arquitectura.
